WE ARE THRILLED YOU ARE HERE!
Welcome to the site of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated - Tau Delta Omega Chapter. For over 30 years our chapter has had an impeccable history of sisterhood, service, and scholarship in Chester, PA, and its surrounding community. Recognized as one of the Best of the Best Chapters in our region, we extend a warm welcome to you!
Sisterhood
Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. is a trailblazing organization! Our sorority is the first Black Greek letter organization for college educated women. It was founded in 1908 on the campus of Howard University. Currently, there are over 1000 Chapters in 11 countries that are a part of our illustrious organization. Our chapter carries the same pioneering spirit of our founders. It is the first Pan-Hellenic Chapter chartered in Chester, PA, on November 10, 1991, by 22 dynamic women. Today we have over 100 members!
Service
Tau Delta Omega is Soaring to Greater Heights of Service and Sisterhood under the leadership of our International President, Danette Anthony Reed, and Regional Director Elicia Pegues Spearman. Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated’s 2022-2026 International Program illuminates the path for its
members to empower families, build economic wealth, enhance the environment, advocate for social justice, and uplift our community. Our Chapter maintains a solid commitment to curate programs in each of the aforementioned areas with innovation, excellence, and consistency. It is no wonder we are quickly becoming the Chapter to watch....
Scholarship
The Tau Delta Omega Chapter is well known in the community for its signature program. Annually, it works tirelessly with the Chester Pearls Foundation to provide youth with an opportunity to participate in a Scholarship Ball. The Ball not only introduces them to formal dance but engages them in personal
development and community service. It is through this program and other events, countless scholarships have been awarded to youth in our community pursuing higher education. The Tenacious, Dynamic, Outstanding members of Tau Delta Omega Chapter look forward to you discovering much more about our organization and supporting our programs. Around the world, an all-white dinner party at a secret outdoor location has been the epitome of epic, elegant fun! These parties have an exclusive guest list where some vie for an invitation for years and never make the list. ✨
The Chester Pearls Foundation, in conjunction with Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. – Tau Delta Omega Chapter, is inspired to make this type of event accessible to our beloved community within Chester. Guests will wear all white, with our female guests adding a Pop of PINK ONLY in their shoes, handbag, and/or jewelry. The proceeds of this exceptional event will fund scholarships and community service programs within Chester and its surrounding communities.

🩷💚What Is Required💚🩷
1️⃣ Arrive at 6:00 PM at a location in Chester revealed on the day of the party. Your table leader will meet you there. The party ends at 10:30 PM. (Rain or shine event.)
2️⃣ Dress to impress in ALL WHITE. No Cream, Eggshell, or Ivory. Ladies should wear a POP of PINK ONLY in their shoes, handbag, and/or jewelry. (Ladies can also wear metallic color shoes, handbag, and/or jewelry. Guys can wear white sneakers.)
3️⃣ Bring a Centerpiece, battery-operated candles/votives, and a formal table setting (no paper or plastic). Your table, chair, and linen will be supplied.
4️⃣ Bring your dinner, water, and drink of choice. Alternatively, you may pre-purchase dinner from our local vendors by midnight on Saturday, August 24, 2024. NO food will be sold at Rose’ Soiree.
5️⃣ You are responsible for disposing of your own trash. Join us for an unforgettable night of elegance and community! 🌟
