Tau Delta Omega Chapter

The Chester Pearls Foundation (CPF) is a 501c3 tax exempt charitable organization created by the women of the Tau Delta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. The mission of Chester Pearls Foundation is to promote the educational advancement of youth and to alleviate problems in the community. Our primary goals include scholarship, mentorship, and academic programming for the youth of the City of Chester and surrounding Delaware County.

Since 2001, we have hosted our signature event the “Scholarship Ball” which has showcased our talented young men and young women, affectionately known as & "Beaus” and “Belles”. CPF has awarded more than $100,000 in college scholarships, book awards and Annual Scholarship Ball Participation Awards to Chester City and the surrounding Delaware County youth.
